Igor Stanušić

Since 2008, dental technology has been part of my everyday life. I finished my studies at the Comenius Vocational School in Pécs. As usual, the removable prosthetics were my first stop, followed by the metal frame part of the fixed replacements. As I gained more experience, I took on new responsibilities in order to gain a better understanding of the process and a comprehensive knowledge of prosthodontics. Digital dentistry has followed the traditional metal framework technology. I made various zirconium and metal frames, crowns, temporaries with CAD/CAM technology.

I was increasingly attracted to aesthetics and function, but mastering them required new ways of learning.

Makó János Ceramics School was the place that gave me a whole new perspective, where I could learn not only what the morphology of teeth looks like, but also why. I feel really lucky to have been able to take part in this unique 10-month training course that is unmatched in the world. I found myself facing completely new professional challenges thanks to the wealth of new knowledge I gained there. Hungry for knowledge, I have taken part in numerous professional training courses at home and abroad and I apply what I have learned in practice to the quality of my work.

Leila Kuizs

I started my studies in dental technology in 2010 at the Comenius Vocational School in Pécs. First, I was introduced to and learned the basics of removable prosthodontics. Later on, the fixed replacements followed, where I was mainly involved in preparing the metal frame part of fixed replacements. During this time, I also gained experience in composite bonding and inlays. I have constantly improved my knowledge, especially in the field of fixed replacements. I have been fortunate to meet several outstanding technicians from whom I have learned a lot, thus gaining more comprehensive knowledge in several areas. I have also been able to participate in a number of courses to improve myself.

I feel like learning never ends. If the moment comes when I feel I have nothing left to learn, it would also mean that I am no longer committed to my profession. Whatever life throws at me, and whoever I meet, I can learn something new from almost everyone and see things from a new perspective.
